Cozee Valee Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc.

We are a PA based 501(c)3 non-profit farm animal rescue. CVRS is a Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) verified facility. We rescue farm animals, mainly horses & ponies, from abuse, neglect, starvation and abandonment. We also assist with rescuing and placing slaughter bound horses. Being active in our community is a huge priority and we try to participate in any way to promote education. We do this through group events, children programs, booths at fairs and community events. We believe that quality proceeds quantity and we strive to give our animals only the best. We are very thorough with our application process, site checks, and are adamant about follow ups on every animal. When there are no vacancies here at CVRS and we cannot take in more animals, we do assist owners by networking far and wide to ensure their animal(s) find a safe place to go. CVRS obtains our funding through fundraisers, grants and donations.
