Horse Rescue. Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Rescue, Inc.'s purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and relocate horses. Rideable horses brought to or donated to DCFHR will be available for adoption at a minimum fee; horses at DCFHR receive good feed, fresh hay, open pastures, veterinary care, deworming, farrier care, vaccinations, and will be evaluated for soundness and riding. For horses that are unrideable for either age or health-related reasons, our goal is to place those horses with new owners who will allow them to live out their days as pasture companions. In the future, we hope to have additional acreage and volunteers to help us maintain a horse sanctuary so that old, unrideable horses can live out their days in peace and safety.
