An Equine Retirement and Rehabilitation Foundation and Sanctuary. GEVA's mission is to provide horses with an alternative to needless euthanasia and inhumane slaughter, abuse or neglect. Our mission has also been expanded for GEVA to be the best possible advocate for each individual horse in our care depending upon the needs, talents, temperament, age, and infirmities of each horse. Our goal continues to be to enlighten people about horses to better care for them, the responsibilities inherent with ownership, for better or worse, and to better understand the mind of the horse, thereby eliminating some of the abuse, whether intentional or through ignorance.
