Habitat For Horses

An Equine Protection Organization. Since 1998, Habitat For Horses has assisted law enforcement throughout the country with equine seizures, court presentations and documentation of cases involving severe abuse and neglect. Over the last 20 years we've been involved in the lives of around 6,000 horses and donkey: doing intense rehabilitation, training and placing them with families that are able to give each one the love and respect they serve. Habitat for Horses maintains four unique facilities. Our main intake unit is in Hitchcock, Texas, where we have our medical unit and trained rehabilitation personnel. At our Cleveland, Texas ranch, we have a 150 acre ranch that gives equine a chance to fully recover both mentally and physically. Our final training and adoption facility is in Manvel, TX, and for those equine that, for whatever reason, should no longer be adopted, we have a 75 acre sanctuary close to Fairfield, Texas.
