Hope In The Valley Equine Rescue and Sanctuary

Rescue, rehabilitation and placement of abuse/neglected equine. Hope in the Valley Equine Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)3 corporation run 100% by volunteers. It was founded by Ande Armstrong in an effort to rescue and rehabilitate horses in Sedgwick County, KS and surrounding communities. The rescue has been developed to provide care for horses that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, unwanted or are slaughter bound. Our goal for each horse is to heal them physically and emotionally so that someday will be able to go to permanent, loving homes.
