Refuge Ranch Ministries

Our Mission is to Revive The Spirit, Rescue the Equine & Mentor the Child. Refuge Ranch Ministries is a federal 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that strives to bring hope and healing to unwanted horses and broken hearted youth. We do this by having 10 weeks of on-site student sessions where one student pairs with an adult mentor and a horse for 90 minute sessions 2x/week. Through the divine power to heal that the horse possesses students are encouraged to place their joys and burdens onto their mentor and equine partner in efforts to leave refreshed & renewed and ready to tackle what the "real world" may throw their way. Our horses are brought in from heartbreaking situations. Whether it's an owner surrender or a kill-pen save these horses that come to our farm get to experience love, safety and security. If the horse's are adoptable we work very hard to find the perfect home for them, and if they aren't adoptable they live out the remainder of their lives with us in comfort.
