Reins of Life Youth Ranch

Equine Rescue. Non-profit therapy riding farm. We are a horse rescue,recovery and youth therapy riding farm. We take in horses that have been neglected, abused, starved and horses that were once a child's love and now is forgotten or no longer has a place in someone's life. We also welcome troubled and disadvantaged children out to experience a day of farm life and to help care for the horses. All the while healing from their own situation. At Reins of Life Youth Ranch in Hamilton, AL, we rescue abused, neglected, and malnourished horses that no longer have a purpose... and we open our farm to children that come from similar backgrounds who also need a purpose in life. This interaction builds character, compassion, a sense of responsibility, and confidence as they gain the horse's trust. The horses and the children working together forms a bond that lasts a lifetime. We feed and care for our rescued horses from donations to our non-profit organization and fund-raising events we have throughout the spring and summer months.
