Revive the Spirit, Rescue the Equine, Mentor the Child

RRM pairs rescued equines w/ broken children & an adult mentor to heal. Refuge Ranch Ministries is a federal non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth ages 4-17 and equines of all characteristics. The heart of our program is to provide a safe & nurturing place for kids & horses to heal and grow. This is accomplished by inviting children to come exactly as they are. Their adult mentor pairs kids with an activity or horse that will encourage them forward toward personal growth and healing any hidden scars caused by all sorts of situations. All activities are chosen at the discretion of the mentor. Some of these sessions include working with/riding horses, crafting, playing games, doing farm chores, gardening and other life skills. A secondary goal of our program is to educate kids in equine safety & horse husbandry. All activities are structured to accomplish our main goal of creating a safe and loving environment to mentor the child. 90 minute child-led sessions ? One-on-one Attention ?
