Roanoke Valley Horse Rescue

Non Profit 501 c 3. Here at The Roanoke Valley Horse Rescue (RVHR) we provide shelter, food, daily care, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and placement services for abandoned and/or neglected horses. The majority of the horses in our care come from animal control cases. We have taken in horses from around the country from these animal control assisted cases. We also strive to provide education and assistance programs to those who need help caring for their horses and offer several clinics through out the year on basic horse care and handling.
