Safe Haven Horse Rescue is a Non-Profit Equine Rescue Facility. We are a 501c3 horse rescue in Cottonwood, CA since 1995. We have over 60 rescued horses, many saved from neglectful and abusive situations and horses that have been saved from the horrible fate of slaughter. 3 of Secretariat's direct descendents call Safe Haven home. We are an all volunteer organization and depend on donations and fundraisers and work hard to find wonderful forever homes for them all. Please come to our Facebook page, like us and meet our horses.
