Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (NY)

The TRF is the oldest and largest equine sanctuary of its kind in the world, with over 1,00 former Thoroughbred racehorses under our care at 25 facilities in 14 states. We are one of the only Thoroughbred rescue organizations that offers a lifelong home for horses whose racing-related injuries make them unsuitable for a second career as a riding horse. Additionally, we always have a select number of sound horses who are being reschooled and prepared for adoption.
