Provide a forever home to ssenior and special needs animals.. Wind Song Animal Sanctuary (Foundation Inc) is a 501c3 non-profit forever-home animal sanctuary dedicated to taking in senior and special needs animals where they will be cared for until they cross the rainbow bridge. These animals do not fit the requirements for being adopted out, due to their age or medical conditions and become permanent residents to our sanctuary which affords them dignity, grace, love, and peace. We have 25 equines at any one time, providing them with love and care for the remainder of their lives. Nestled within the western region of Placer County, sitting gently beneath the bucolic Sierra Foothills, is our beautiful forever-home animal sanctuary where our residents enjoy living on 27 acres of natural land.
